So close…

I am tired of waiting until the moment when I step off the plane and see my family for the first time in too long. All of my friends have already gone home pretty much. Nashville has been the quietest I have ever seen it. And I have been ready to go home for months. It is finally here. I am heading to the airport in about 45 minutes, to wait for two hours, to get on the plane and wait another two hours, then, I will finally get to see my family. So close…

In other news, there is an enormous blizzard about to cover the Minneapolis area with a couple feet of snow tonight. This will be the first snow I have seen all year. Growing up under blankets of snow, you would think it wouldn’t be so easy to get used to something so different. But here we are. This blizzard is the cause of the canellation of my dads side family Christmas. Everyone will be snowed in. Although I am extremely bummed that I will not get to see many of them this Christmas, I am seriously looking forward to having a fire going all day, staying in sweats, and devouring a book before I go back to sleep. Who am I kidding, I won’t sleep after that… My brothers and I will be staying up stupid late watching episodes of The Office and wrestling. That’s right, wrestling. It’s like were 10.

So as I wait and type in anticipation of heading home I must say, Nashville, I love you, I might even miss you a little bit, I will be back, but for now I cannot wait to be away from you for 8 days.

That is all.
